Never missing a season since my three I was bound to get back on my skis after spending most of my time on the bike in run up to Rio 2016. Winter in Slovakia this year was the best in 10 years and snow piled up everywhere. Beautiful sky, fresh powder and some fine company was all I have dreamt for for past three years and my wishes came true. I have tried iceclimbing and fell in love with it, I have met great people and reached places covered in ice and snow I would not reach without everybody that has gone there with me. Cycle, training, velodrome, focus, sacrifice and performance are so important to become one of the best in cycling. But without distraction, relax, sofa, snow or in deed lazy time there is no progress.
